The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Which Spdey?
The original guy that was a granola, yogurt loving, smart ass narcissist, creepy old cunt from Toronto that possessed a somewhat amusing persona but never bothered to talk much about hockey..... or the guy that bombed the hockey board with a pile of pro Elmer Benning propaganda when Elms was going full Lennie Small on the local hockey team?
The Rain Spider or the crack addled mess that seemed to be a hand puppet that imploded? Two different characters, no?
A very amusing persona, actually.
The Elmer stuff was designed to drive a certain Benning-hater mad.

BTW there is no fear in Strangelove...
Sorry I may have gotten the wrong impression by all the hard work you’re putting in over here.

You didn't answer the question.
Woke is over, Doc. Pretty much everyone agrees with Ricky, the new Dem attitude we see with young Kamala ain’t woke but the Republicans are still hanging on to their “anti-wokeness” as if their lives depend on it while everyone else has moved on, quite sad really seeing how out of touch they are.
Great article on “Woke”
“And that’s the point: Both wokeness and anti-wokeness have lost their transgressive edge. Now they’re both kind of “cringe,” as the kids say.”

"So is woke over? Probably not. The term might be in terminal decline as anything other than an epithet, but the ideas are going to be around for a while — as will anti-wokeness — because both are just stand-ins for the culture war’s left and right.
But it does seem as if many on the left are starting to realize they went too far."
Hmmm. So lefties (including Kamaltoe) are less woke now? Interesting...

Doc, you are cringe. Please stop with your woke obsession. It’s over, move on.

And danged if it didn't!
Quite the chap, that Spidey...
Is that a back handed way of saying that you used Spidey as a sock puppet?

Again, the article you quote says woke is NOT over.
True, the writer does say woke and anti-woke are "cringe"... in his opinion.
That writer by the way also wrote this book:
I read that book, it's all about how lefties created fascism.

Hey Doc, whereabouts in East Abbotsford are you? I was out along McKee past Ledgeview Golf Course the other morning, very nice area. Quiet, serene. Lotsa fit birds out for their morning jog along tree-lined avenues. Are you in one of them gated communities out there?

5th, it would be nice to get Doc to talk about something here that is not MAGA content or related to that, whether it be the climate, woke, the 5th amendment, Kamala, BLM, abortion rights, church and state, LGBTQ…blah, blah, blah. Thanks

I'm east of there.
Don't want to say any more because I'm afraid some you-know-wot will hunt me down.
(I represent everything at least one you-know-wot finds despicable in this world)

It's a good thing you live in the lower mainland. Anywhere else in BC or western Canada, the locals would have disposed of you and your communist views. Hell, I would love to see you in one of our local bars trying to defend your left wing moronic bullshit - you would never be heard from again.
