Hurricanes will definitely make a few deals over this offseason.

McKenzie noted Toronto’s hesitation to move one of its top young forwards, like a William Nylander or Connor Brown, though suggested Brown could be in play if the right deal presented itself.
Maple leaves GM Kyle Dubas will weigh his options this summer, as Faulk is not the only defenceman the team has been linked to. Toronto has also reportedly had interest in such players as Vancouver’s Chris Tanev, Arizona’s Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Los Angeles’ Alec Martinez and Columbus’ David Savard.

Crushing for me? I never had any illusions of Taveras signing here. Toronto will be top heavy in a year or two and will need to make a move. The D is still weak but they should be an awfully entertaining team to watch.
