For me he's one of those guys that you really, really dislike but you really don't know why.

Yeah....never liked him as a player but I try not to let that create a jaundiced opinion of ones coaching abilities.
Again...no idea personally....just poking around and throwing names out there...
Tbh Julien or even Boudreau work just fine for me...

No idea who these other good coaches are that are going to be let go. Perhaps you could fill us in.
IMHO both Julien and Boudreau are better and more successful coaches. BB’s uptempo style would play well with the personnel here.
Ok for example, if VGK continue to play poorly would Peter DeBoer not be a serious upgrade? Or Sullivan in Pitt? Maybe even Rick Bowness coming back.
It's all hypothetical until it happens obviously but every year teams underperform and fire their coaches.
Boudreau hasn't employed a successful system in decades. No thanks
Edit:I looked at BB a little closer and maybe he wouldn't be so bad after all. His team's have a history of playoff suckiness but good regular season records. Maybe there is a fit there
Cuz, you call Boudreau, Julien, and Babcock "scraping the bottom of the barrel", then you bring up Bowness?!
I'd say Boudreau is my preference, though I'm generally not in favour of coaching changes to solve a problem, in this case there is a disappeared offensive ability that has dragged on since the Knights series. It arose in the bubble, it was there (in Petey's case) pre-COVID outbreak, it's been there to start the 21/22 season.
This is three out of 10 games where they only mustered a single goal, and where another goal would have gotten them at least a loser point.

How can Sutter have success playing a team with Lucic and Gudbranson while Green can’t find a spot for either Gadjovich or MacEwen?
Because.. Green

Kirk Muller was a damn good player and was rumoured for years much like Kevin Dineen to be a hot head coaching candidate. They have both done a little as the top dog but nothing sustained. Interesting names for sure. This market needs a name and a pedigree if they decide to turf Travis Green.

Favorite Canuck as a young punk?
Lever was my Dad's favorite player for a time and is the first guy I recall as a "fav". Hence the nick.
Favorite ever?
Bure.
Most hated?
Corns buddy.

Nothing tops Loui Eriksson. His first goal he scores as a Canuck is into his own fucking net. How do you top that?
In a Messier interview the other day (about his book) he says his greatest regret was taking the C off of TL. That's a solid move to try and make amends

...or sell a few more books.
He also stomped all over the Maki name.
...and yeah...LE...never saw him play here.

...sitting in the stands that first Bure game against the Jets (and I'm sure I've regaled y'all everyone with this tape previously yo by the way) was far and away the greatest in game, Canuck thrill ride I had been involved with and that includes the 82 run.
