Too early Rick. Way too early.

Showing very well despite the score. Raty looking like a full time NHL regular now (despite the slow feet). Dpete, Lekky, even Linus the weenus looking far better than expected
What they've been doing is gutsy as heck.

And Brock looking increasingly expendable absent a top-6 center.

Brock has been playing his best hockey of late but I agree with you on his importance moving forward. He's a luxury that we can't prioritize over building up their center depth.

I'd even say Suter is a more important resigning than BB when you consider what it will cost vs what you get for your $$$

Tough break Rats - the AHLers couldn't get it done.

Decent game, but just not nearly enough against the best in the league - and the one softie from Demko really hurt.

I think after this, even Aquaman isn't thinking about his playoff revenue.

From here on in, I'll still be cheering but won't be upset about a loss.

Seasons over - officially unofficially. They have played well lately, but the hole was dug early this season, and it was too much to overcome.

Go with Joshua, Raty and Garland as the second line for the rest of this season and see how they look. Neither Raty nor Suter have enough speed to keep both in the line-up. Might as well see if Raty can do the job in the top six just in case the Canucks have to make that call for next season.

Get Mancini, DPetey and Lekk as many minutes as they can. Can sit out the UFAs now to allow more minutes for the prospects.

Yeah, I think the team’s playoff chances went poof there. Hope they stay competitive down the stretch for culture’s sake. Only so much you can ask from Suter and Râty as your top 2 Cs against Winnipeg this season.

Lots to love about this team, but Baldie has work to do this offseason. Hope Suter doesn’t price his way off the team, but he’s writing his own pay cheque these days.

You gotta give credit though.

It’s a 12-man group of forwards and only two of them would be anything more than 3rd liners on a good team…..and they aren’t quitting against the best team in the league.

I like the fight in this group.

Can only hope that performance and numbers weigh heavily in free agency this year. Boeser could find himself watching Suter get better offers.

He seemed to play a lot better once the deadline came and went. He's playing a lot more relaxed, and handling the puck so much better. The mini-run of goals helped, too.

But it's a numbers game, and there might not be room for him here depending on what happens with our centres. I'd like to see him stay, since his production will be hard to replace next year (the year after, not so much).
