They are but they aren't. Hughes signing or not has a direct impact on how EP2 's career goes. That Wiebo didn't have a top 4 D option or even top pairing, is telling. It speaks volumes. Just don’t want to read about trading him for 2 years. He is the best player ever to wear a Canucks jersey so why do we want to move him now. Watching him skate is probably the main reason I still watch full games because I believe in him.

Yah, I was thinking of a poor man's Matty Ohlund as well, but prob not as intimidating and skilled. Although D-Petey25 does make some pretty nice skilled plays at times and his point shot seems to pack some heat & accuracy as well, so hopefully it's something he can develop.
