A few comments;

What could be considered a garbage goal of banging in a loose puck around the goalie was some pretty incredible and quick hand eye co-ordination by Sherwood on his first. He is this season's CoHog of last season.

Miller's line with a very strong effort against the McKinnon line.

Fundamentals, many Vancouver players (Scooter, I'm looking at you) are no longer keeping their stick blades on the ice as they did last season. Target for passes and at the ready to disrupt plays defensively.

Miller costs 32% less in contractual outlay and adds 50% (a # chosen for shits and giggles without getting into on ice dynamics/specifics) more applicable overall value than EP.

Irrespective of goals they are both "point a game players" which seems to be a rallying cry for the staunch #40 defenders.

The only thing that makes the Miller versus EP argument viable is his age.

Other than that Miller crushes EP in ROI pretty much across the board.

Peter did seem kind of frisky last night though.

Last night he hit mostly normally.. I don’t mind the odd reverse hit but not to let it be your staple.

He hit the post got off 3 other good shots at least.

He fell down several times….. groove his skates deeper and build up the legs to handle the extra strength that needs

PS: with the right pieces coming back id trade him either a 2c or 3/4 d and a prospect and minimum 2nd round pick
