6x$6 is nothing to complain about.
Man, I dunno. If we're going to give Garly $6M X 6, I'd rather trade Garly and pay the extra $2M to Brockstar and give him that $8M.

The biggest win in my mind for this off season would be - not trading the 1st round pick. If that happens I’m good.

If you listen around the league everyone wants to move their first rounders for help. Even the #3 is up for grabs.

It seems that there's no market for these later picks so you might just get your wish

Is this the shallowest, shittiest draft crop since the Sedins draft??

Seems that way.

...and of course, we keep the pick.

The first 12 or so are supposed to be a significant cut above the next tier. There are no projected superstars but those 12 should all end up being quality players.

There's supposed to be some good bets down the list too. The rumours of shitiness are not accurate apparently

Good news is there's lots of Centers projected in the 1st rd.

Bad news is none are elite.
Good news is the Canucks want a 2C.
Bad news is they’ll likely trade the pick.
Good news is it might be just like the Sedin draft.
The #15 pick in 1999 was Scott Kelman - yah me neither.
Never played a game.

We really don’t know how this draft class or any draft class turns out until a few years later. The 2017 class was supposed to be a shitty class but a lot of gems came out of that one. The 2016 class was supposed to a great class but a lot of busts and clunkers came out of that one. There will always be Wyatt Johnston’s to find in the 20’s, Jason Robertson’s in the 2nd round, Seth Jarvis’ in the teens and busts like Lafrenierre going 1st overall. It is what it is. We drafted Kesler and Ohlund in the latter parts of the 1st round we can do it again.

Alvin did say in his presser that they are looking at trading down, so maybe the rumors are accurate?

Take care...

Yeah. Because Brock is a puck retrieving forechecked who gives 110 % every shift.

Doubtful. You will find something else to pop off about — repeatedly. :D

So, who do the Canucks acquire with the 15th overall pick tonight?

Dhali saying Demko might be re-signed for around 7 mil per year and for between 4 - 6 years. Rumour right now.

Well a number that starts with a 7. That could be a heck of a lot more than around 7. 4-6 years would be a good compromise on his part.
