He's highly skilled, he should be a decent scoring winger.

Krutov was a bit homesick, but I think he intended to fulfill his contract though. He was able to buy a lot of hotdogs with what he was making here. :P

Don't count on it. *hehe* Wow, u had time to count all my words and look for my 4 abbreviations? Also, I have lots of lady friends, from the English dept. and all over. ;)

Heres a breakdown and comparison of Brock Boeser and how he looks against his peers. The closest comparison being Patrik Laine...not too shabby.

Home runs on 23rd overall picks make up for losing lotteries!

https://www.tsn.ca/expect-boeser-to-be ... 1.1150440

On the Laine point – I think he is clearly a top-end comparison for Boeser, even at the age of 20. Laine’s been able to put together two ridiculous opening seasons on top of his pre-NHL draft production, and I think we have relatively much more confidence today in Laine being a star than Boeser.
...
I’m pretty convinced Boeser, one year in, is going to be a major impact player in the NHL. It’s awfully difficult to have that level of production in a rookie season (on a bad team), and these seasons tend to be very indicative of future performance. His statistical comparables last season only strengthen my confidence.

A little talking out of his ass but looking at the 2 charts is interesting

This kind of ranking depends a lot on who you call a prospect. I mean, is Dahlin really a prospect? Like McDavid, everyone expects him to step right into the NHL on Day 1.

Should we try for Jack? What would it take?

Our history of brothers might push me there.... Horvat? Juloivie? What?? Our first plus++

Not a chance in hell I would gut the team for something that could almost be called, gimmicky.
To come this far, "painfully" at times, and do that?
If it falls to us, fine.
Not convinced the league will travel very far down the road on the small and speedy path.
Besides, the brother thing can get old.

Other point also made - get Boeser signed for 8 years.

With us sliding DOWN the draft order EVERY YEAR, what's the point of tanking?? we wont win anyway..

If we get lucky, we get lucky.

If we end up in 31st at the end of the year, Benning probably gets canned and then who do we trust to pick for us at #2??
