You lead off with "Gillis" not "Canucks" former 1st rounders in each one. Its gotten personal with you for some reason
Yes, please re-tell the story of why the Chef dislikes Gillis, its too deep in the archives and its time for a re-telling!

Surely Chef wasn't actually tossed by his skullet?

Gillis had one hand on the Chef’s greasy skullet and the other hand on the crotch of his spandex. Then he launched a younger, slimmer Chef as far as he could. The Chef was leering at Gillis in the shower according to Yudel.

Dude has every right to continuously kick Gillis to the curb.

The Dude has always keyed on drafting and developing.

During the entire Gillis era Dude was suffering from GMMG's ineptitude in that area.

He complained constantly about it and in fact the usually supercool Dude was becoming very grumpy indeed.

Most here didn't care about that stuff in that era because Canucks were a contender and we just wanted a Cup.

So we were constantly telling El Duderino to just settle the fuck down.

I'm as guilty as anyone and I hereby formally apologize to his Dudeness... hey, I get it now Dude!

This is me and Dude circa 2010...

Duder, I was wrong and you were right.

The skullet tossing was a documented historical event.

There is a banner up in Britannia rink celebrating Mike Gillis's courageous act against the harassment of these east van mullet kids

Gillis hasn’t been here for six years. At what point is it Benning’s team? I mean let’s go back even further and blame Dave Nonis while we’re at it.

I believe it. Who wants to be stared at when you’re trying to have a shower at a public facility? The Chef is lucky that he only got skullet tossed. It could have been much worse for him.

Chef was a big cheeseburgler fan and the way the eyeties flushed him for Gillis was the initial triggering event (other than the tossing...of course!)

It was Gallagher who brokered Gillis to Aqualini, planted him in Francesco’s ear like the weasel he is while Nonis was still working. Gallagher is an evil doer. He hated Nonis cause Nonis was a Burke guy, he hated Burke cause Burke was a Quinn guy, and we all know how Tony felt about Quinn.

Tony is like pond scum

Doc my friend, you kept me in line at a time when I was madly trying to expose the farce that Gillis was, and man was he ever a farce. It was during this era where Blobbee coined the term - Urine Crew. Blobbee did not like anyone dissing his Boi Gillis, and still doesn’t to this day

Hargraves is curious when it’s Benning’s team. Is six seasons not long enough to put your stamp on the team?

10 years? Then I don’t have to read that EVERYTHING is the previous GM’s fault? At this rate I may take that.

Stop defending Gillis. His evil fingerprints have been all over this new regimes tumultuous journey in trying to get this team back to respectability. Gillis had this team in such a bad place when Jimbro took over that most sane minded hockey fans viewed as a 6-7 year turnaround. We are on schedule.
