What's the worry, that's some pervert  will pretend to be a transgender and assault little girls in the washroom?
That is exactly what I worry about, and not a pretend transgender either.
But does this actually happen in real life? Studies repeatedly show there is no increase in sexual assaults in places with trans--inclusive policies. This is why many women's advocacy group including anti-sexual assault and domestic violence organizations support trans-inclusive policies. Why don't we listen to them instead of our phantom fears?
Ok, how about someone with a penis in a women's washroom changing in front of young (or any) women. You don't think that's offensive? My wife and our daughter-in-laws would definitely be offended, as I'm sure many women would be.

Yes of course it would be, but I don't think this is something that happens or is likely to happen under trans-inclusive policies. The vast majority of women don't change in front of each other and trans women would be no different. So you're really talking about a cisgender male using trans-inclusive policies as an excuse to pretend to be trans and going to a bathroom and expose themselves. Extremely unlikely I think and I know of no such occurrences. Or maybe I misunderstood your post.

I'm sure they're cool seeing a giant circumcised clitoris flopping around as long as she's wearing eyeshadow and lipstick

I guess I'm just old school on this issue. I don't agree with anyone with a penis being in a women's change room where there are other women showering and changing. Lose the penis, and I'm good with transgenders in women's washrooms.

Saw an Irish comedian suggesting that Irish Americans are pretty much the same thing as transexuals.
"They're born one thing but identify as another. And they sure like a good parade!"

Guys, if you're interested in tracking which businesses are using the temporary foreign worker program, or if you want to support Canadian workers and the people who hire them, this handy website tracks them in your community.

https://lmiamap.org/

*Cyprus Bowl is employing 37 foreign workers!

Meg, looked at site on my phone and it seems to just post a number but not the company nor the type of foreign worker. Canada does have exchange program with several countries such as Australia so not sure if they are included in this.

I do not see how Tim Hortons needs this program at all.

Who buys that garbage anyway? It's basically tv dinner quality food and instant coffee. Why are the drive thru's constantly full?

I swear the only reason people buy that shit is because they can get it without leaving their vehicles

You couldn’t pay me Blob’s pension to eat at Tim Horton’s. Disgusting.

2Fingers, it seems to list the following information:

Employer name - address - program stream (high wage or low wage) - occupation - approved positions - quarter.

A few, maybe one in twenty, or thirty, are taking permanent residents only.

Yeah, those full drive-throughs are ridiculous. The food court at Park Royal always has a twenty-deep lineup for Tim's, while the Japanese, Greek, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc. places might be lucky to have one or two customers. It must be the advertising campaign because the food is awful. It was an okay dinut shop fifty years ago.

Gross!

Hey do you guys still have Robins donuts? There used to be one by Ikea in Richmond that I frequented 25+ yrs ago that made pretty good stuff but I'm sure it's all gone 3rd world grade ghetto by now too

Another old school fast food spot I liked was the Mr Submarine I think on the Hastings bend by Clark. If you winked at the staff they'd toss a few extra hunks of meat on your subs. I bet the Chef know what I'm talking about

(And before y'all leap on my innocent meat comment...they were young Italian girls)

Thanks, will try on my computer later. The program has been abused and should be scrapped except for industries that really need it.

Even a manager at Tim's earns less than $20, and others as low as $13. Are locals interested in these jobs?
