Hey Tuna, speaking of predictions, is the rumour true?
Is Nylander is out with yet-another concussion?

I hear he skated today and should play tomorrow.
Mark Masters @markhmasters
Nylander said injury occurred in practice & medical staff told him he couldn't play; says it's no longer an issue; excited to play tomorrow
Mark Masters @markhmasters
William Nylander on practising on 4th line: "Yeah, no, it’s completely understandable & I just got to get back into the swing of things."
Yup, sounds like yet-another concussion.
The guy was only out of action for
2 days and "just got back into the swing of things"?
"Practising on 4th line"?
Yup.
Speaking of injuries to Leaves this season... there have been virtually none.
(not counting their designated LTIR-for-life guys)
Tuna keeps talking about how much depth the Leaves have, but no one believes him because it hasn't been tested!
Poor Tuna, let's help him out folks!
Everyone please take a moment out of your hectic lives and say a little prayer for Leaf injuries...

We talked about the Canucks terrible schedule to start the year and expected struggles and injuries. TO has had the exact opposite, I mean they did have to leave their timezone once so that's tough.
Back to backs with 2 days off afterwards, we wish!! Or one of the other back to back they had they had 3 days off beforehand to prepare. Seriously? The Canucks would kill for a schedule like that.
They will have to deal with injuries at some point but man their schedule is damn easy comparatively. But I know being on the west coast this is always what we will have to deal with!

Dear Lord: Please let Air Canada deliver the Toronto Maple leaves safely to Vancouver for their hockey rematch with the Vancouver Canucks December 3rd, 2016, Amen.

Canucks should just keep on loading up on defence and goalies at the draft and be the kryponite to these Canadian teams who are loading up on faggy dipsey doodling forwards with no quality in defence and goaltending. Hoping we walk out of the next two drafts with Liljegren/Foote and this Dahlen kid in 2018.

So tell me why Andersen is a bad goalie. You're going to have to explain this. Why is a 26 year-old who shared the Jennings trophy and posted a .919 save % last season and is red hot now and has his numbers climbing not a good goalie? He also is the second biggest goalie behind Bishop, and I do think that's gives him an advantage over a shrimp like Bernier.
Well he's
27 and the Jennings Trophy is a team award (least total goals-against = won't be happening in TO).
And
NOW he's being paid #1 goalie money and hasn't proven he can handle a #1 goalie workload.
As for size, well my good buddy Mëds is 6'11" and 280lbs.

310 actually Doc.
Put on some school/study weight.
More to the point, what Kool-Aid is Tuna trying to share with us? Andersen is 6'4" and 27 years old. He's definitely not the 2nd biggest goaltender in the league behind Bishop.

The comparables are remarkable, another great contribution to a discussion by a sometimes poster with not much ever to say.

Kadri is a 3rd liner worth 2.5 million, eh? 4.5 million is a steal. Guy would have gotten 5.5 million-6 per season on the open market next summer. What a signing.

Kadri isn't a second line center on a good team.
He's an ugly ,dirty ,bus bomber. He might ride shotgun playing wing on a loaded second line on a contender, but with his attitude, cowardly play and hygiene ,he'd likely find his way back to a pretender type team like the leaves.

Kadri is becoming like Brad Marchand. Very valuable piece. Very good two-way centre. And 4.5 million through his prime years? Steal! Look what Andrew Ladd got LOL.
