Cameron is eating his share of heat now from the hockey world it's all said and done. There's no valid explanation as to why he decided to not run any practices since the 3rd game.
Career loser coaching mentality right there.

I feel bad for him but he’s not the right man for the job, that’s on the management brass whom I believe is at the heart of the problem.
I believe what Cherry says in that they have to hire full time independent coaching staff not tied to any team nor league, removing the politics that is plaguing the whole organization and change their mentality on how they select the players. They over think the selection process. Send your most talented players FFS, modernize the program. With a full time coaching staff they will be able to work in systems better, have the time for it. Old school hockey Canada is over, bring it back to the modern era FFS

Hockey Canada isn't going to air their dirty laundry in public by calling out anyone associated with the team. Wait patiently and see who returns.
Is this in part to the organization still reeling from the sexual assault scandals/coverups and loss of all major sponsor deals?

Curious who is on the board in charge of hiring the management team? If they are in cahoots with management I’m not seeing any house cleaning. They seem pretty protected in their positions, hence “the old boys club”.

It’s amazing it took them this long to realize that coaching and managing the Team Canada junior programs should be a full time gig and not a part time assignment. Don Cherry hit the nail on the head. More importantly it removes politics and favortism with an independent staff, no players, teams nor leagues get priority in selecting.

Mynio was OK but he was one of the guilty ones taking stupid penalties. Got lucky on a couple non calls

Pretty,.pretty tricky tack "even up" call on Willander to give the Fins a PP and the win.

For a 7 D, Mynio was ok. Was always trying to make the smart play and never trying to do too much. Puck was off his stick to a safe team mate nearly as soon as he got the puck. Means he was one of the few unselfish ones in the lineup.
In the box for a cross-check for the 2 - 1 goal against.
1st Fin goal was on a bogus power play. Both teams benighted from soft calls by the officials.

I was busy doing stuff and wasn't following closely but the Swedes really needed a save on that winning goal.

Yeah, that should not have been a penalty. Especially not in overtime in an elemination game.
We should have won this, completely outplayed the Finns in the third period and overtime (till they got the powerplayj.
But this team lacked real goal scorers. A lot of great players, but dominating the Finns and creating scoring opportunities is no good if you can’t put the puck in the net.
