If there is a team softer than the Canucks in our division, it is the Oilers.rats19 wrote:Sam glassjaw Gagne

Who on the Oilers can deliver retribution for anything? Brown went after Weise for the Hall hit and Weise beat him easily.rats19 wrote:Sam glassjaw Gagne

lol nothing will happen, all accidental.Benjo wrote:The Weise and Kassian plays are being looked at by the league. HF boards posters are up in arms about how Kassian high sticked Gagner on purpose. IMO he brutally missed the hit which threw him off balance causing him to wave his stick. If high stick supp. discipline cases are based on recklessness than it should be a fine/suspension, if it is based on intent like Keith on Carter last year then it should be no more than a fine. I don't give a crap about the Weise hit on Hall, Hall cut to the middle with his head down and he was crunched, it's not the first or last time that will happen to him.
I really think only the Ducks and Kings are tougher than Vancouver and Anaheim is questionable. The Sharks, Yotes, Flames and Coilers aren't tough teams whatsoever.Island Nucklehead wrote:If there is a team softer than the Canucks in our division, it is the Oilers.rats19 wrote:Sam glassjaw Gagne

Good for Raymond.Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun
As reported elsewhere, one year, $1 M for Mason Raymond with leaves. Good deal for the leaves
Guess they felt they needed someone who will stand up to Scott.Jovocop wrote:Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun

I don't understand why they would sign Raymond and left Franson unsigned. It would be interesting if Franson is signed an offer sheet. Nonis will have no choice but trading Liles+ for cap space.Strangelove wrote:Guess they felt they needed someone who will stand up to Scott.Jovocop wrote:Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun

Now someone PLEASE offer-sheet Franson!
If Nonis can manage to sign Franson to a contract for less than $1.9m, yes, it might be a good deal.BigTuna wrote:1 million. What a great signing.

It's about what he's worth so "great" may be an overestimate of his valueBigTuna wrote:1 million. What a great signing.
He's looked very good in preseason. It would be silly to not sign him. He's a ice replacement for Macarthur.Uncle dans leg wrote:It's about what he's worth so "great" may be an overestimate of his valueBigTuna wrote:1 million. What a great signing.
