Henrik and Daniel Sedin can barely skate and they managed to lead their teams to within a win of a cup and won mvp trophies on top contenders for years...although if they had been a little quicker they would've likely had their names on the cup more than once during their primes.

Try coming into the league in 2016' with Strome's skating abilities. He simply does not have the overall abilities that Marner does.

Marner at this point looks to be head and shoulders better than Strome buuut...15 games is a little early to declare him anything other than a promising rookie on a hot streak

Pretty cocksure of yourself when your leaves are a mere three points ahead of a team that so far has been laughably (leaf-ably?) bad, endured a nine game losing streak, picking up where they left off on the injury parade (although I'm not sure things would be too much different up to this point totally healthy), and whose only success came from smoke and mirrors, by your own admission. So what exactly does that say about your team? They don't seem so amazing in that light, do they? Yeah i know. Game in hand and blah blah blah. But right now its about fifty fifty they waste that game.
Like I've already said, if all things remain the same you would win the bet but how about we let the season play out first. Jeebus jive turkey, we are not even 20 games in yet.
