DOC with the same number of goals as Boeser.

Great for DOC…

…not so much for Boeser.

Nice pun :D

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the Canucks' announcer should tone down his goal announcements. Curb the enthusiasm.

For a team that has one of the all-time, worse atrocious home records, that "Woo!" is not only unnecessary, but seriously embarrassing. I'm sure he does that even during blowout losses.

Add a Canucks loss to this and it was a productive night.

Magic number 12 point (6 more regulation loses) or if the Rags can win another game (doubt it), that would help.

Ducks disinterested and discombobulated in the first. This is a division leader? My goodness the pacific is horrible. Canucks play pretty well.

Second Canucks do their thing where they start defeated because they know it’s a little bit longer to get to the bench. Anaheim plays like they are coached by Queneville.

Third period, fun. Almost NHL hockey being played by both teams.

In sum, more entertaining than most. Flashes of potential from Buium, Willander, and Ohgren — enough to think if all of these guys progress, the Canucks may leap from miserable to bad next season. All that praise for the game doesn’t mean I didn’t multitask while watching. But hey, small victories.

Lankinen really needs some credit for this tank, and Foote for putting him out there. Guy seems as good as most starters at winning shooter v. Goalie situations. But that rebound control is so atrocious.
