Sammy Blais with a bomb from outside the left circle late on an Abby power play makes it 2-1 Abbotsford.

Kudryavtsev dres a second straight penalty.

Linus Karlsson down the left wing beats Villalta's glove on the rush. 3-1 Abby.

Austin Poganski boards Hirose and gets 5 and a game. Sammy Blais roofs a backhand from net front to make it 4-1. Power play goal.

Karlsson misses on a rink-wide pass at the point, and Tucson grabs a shorty on the counter.

4-2 Abbotsford after two periods.

Third period:

Tucson with the early pressure.

Artem Duda sneaks one through a screen past Silovs and it's 4-3.

Big Silovs save with three minutes left

Tucson net empty with 35 seconds remaining and Abby has possession moving up the ice when play is blown down. Abby's net is off it's moorings and Tucson is awarded a penalty shot as the referees determine Silovs has deliberately dislodged the net. Silovs saves the day stopping the Roadrunner shooter as Abby hangs on for the 4-3 victory.

Abby had the run of play for most of the first period but Tucson emerged with a 1-0 lead thanks to Ben McCartney deflecting a Kevin Connauton point shot past Silovs against the run of play.

Sammy Blais rang a shot off the post on an early power play. this was repeated later in the period.

Tucson gooning it as expected but getting away with it so far. Coach Steve Potvin likes to goon it and dresses a very aggressive lineup. Abby needs to make them pay on the power play.
