Thank god that would never happen. I wouldn't want Subban anywhere near this team and with his contract, the Devils would have to add BIG time.

The Senators have too many prospects all in and around the same age. It simply won’t work for them the ability to develop them all and keep them all. They need some established players like a JT Miller, a little older, for leadership. Put a package together and make a move on Pierre Luc Dubios.

The return for Olli wouldn't be much at this point. If he becomes something with the Canucks now, that's a bonus. Wont cost much to renew.
Virtanen might actually bring something usable, even a pick. Better hurry on that though.

If you're not keeping Petey as a center you trade him.

Boeser is a right shot, he's got a way better vibe to him as a Canuck team guy. Petey could be used to acquire a different centerman to play with Brock. Get rid of the pouter.

Alternatively you find a way to dump Pearson and Miller for that legit C and convert Pettersson to winger and keep Boeser as well, perhaps coverting him to a LW where he sets up on the PP anyhow.
