I thought asking Cuz was only if there was more than one of them (and they were morbidly obese).
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

I'm just saying there are some signs that Cuz wants to remain in his outhouse because he doesn't want to be outed from this house. I think we should all respect that.

Cuz is probably like KFC... he will always want to Double-Down. Loves to be sandwiched between two big, fat, juicy pieces...
(Sorry, Cuz. Just having some fun

I thought someone else would have seized on that take away, or have you seized on his finely coifed facial hair?
He's an immature punk who thought he had it all figured out but now succumbing to the pressures he created for himself. "What do you mean I still have to work for that A8? It's fucking paid for."

Another thing to consider is that if we think he is damaged goods then every GM will assume that as well and it will have a big on trade value. He will not get a top end defender back and any deal would probably mean the team has to eat $2-$3 million of his cap for 7 more years.
Unless of course the team takes back a head case as well.
I looked at the pending UFA centres available this summer, not many unless you want John Taveres?

I would 100% take Tavares on a max 2 year deal at $7M per.....it's not like Mitch and Moustache are coming with him. I'd consider 3 years if it took the cap hit down to $5M.2Fingers wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 5:34 pm Another thing to consider is that if we think he is damaged goods then every GM will assume that as well and it will have a big on trade value. Tavares has respectable playoff numbers (last year excepted) and his regular season and playoff stats are more than 2nd line worthy.
He's a career 53.7% faceoff guy, and the last 4 seasons he has been closer to 60% in that department.....huge for this team right now.
He's not a defensive liability, and he's a leader.
He's definitely a guy you can add to a team on the cusp.....if you can get past the pajamas.

This is my new approach when one of my guys frames a window opening to the wrong size - I hug them for what is seemingly a long time and then ask them in a soft gentle voice - “how are you doing these days? How are things at home? Do I not pay you enough money? Do I not put on enough team building events? Do I not commend you and your life and presence here on a daily basis?…and so on….” And then I say “don’t worry I’ll fix this, you just go relax, take your break early, in fact, take the rest of the day off with pay. I got this. All good”Carl Yagro wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:59 pm Why you screaming at your employees, Boomer?
PS. You're expected to channel your inner Tina Turner these days and tell them, "You're simply the best, better than all the rest..."

Reality
Anyone who thinks he's gonna be the magic that fixes the D before Myers contract is up needs to bury their head in Blobs lawn couch

We have one.
Now some people want the asshole to go so we can go back to being a bunch of soft pussies.
You can't always beat them with skill on the PP. Sometimes you have to beat them in the alley where the goals are dirty as fuck and between the goals is even dirtier. Did 2011 teach us nothing?

“ Blobs lawn couch”. Is that meant to be a literal thing? Because the first images that came to mind of burying your head in anything of Blobs have left permanent mental scars.
