This Kakko kid looks good, looking like a star at the worlds. The Devils have a tough decision to make

If Podkozlin falls to us the Canucks should draft him. He is gonna fall because he’s locked in to a 2 year contract with the KHL but the kid is an excellent player who should be drafted top 5. How far he falls who knows. It would be a gift if he falls to us. We are gonna have to wait two years for whoever we draft there anyways.

Has he stated he will play in the NHL when his contract is up?

Yup Kakko looking elite, probably be just as good if not better than Rantanen, 80+ points per season, while beastin' in the playoffs.
Rantanen's contract should be $9M-$10M aav as an aside.

Yup a lot of scouts saying if you got patience for two years, you could be a "powerball winner" here.
Canucks could overpay a 2nd line RW for two years in the meantime till Pods is ready IF he falls to #10.

SKYO whoever we draft at 10 is gonna take 2-3 years to develop anyways. Or be impactful

I have a feeling one or both of the next two years first rounders are in the table. Elmer either makes playoffs or he gets a footprint in his ass.

Hopefully you're wrong. This 10th OA pick will land a pretty good asset and unless something changes dramatically on that defense, so will next years

This is a good draft class. Next years draft is an excellent draft class. There’s a good chance Vancouver is picking in the top 5 or 10 next year.

I was closer on my Canucks points prediction than you were. Even though I said they were likely in the bottom five, I nailed the point total pretty much bang on. You and s few other tards predicted playoffs. LMFAO

No you didn't, shall I dig up that GDT post where you predicted they'd get just 8 points in their final 14 games?

Five years ago I started with that playoffs prediction and stuck to it.

They'll make the playoffs this coming season and it'll turn out I missed it by just one year.

Sorry about that chief, missed it by that much. :)
