Even if all your fantasies about our body of Science come true in the future, my statements today will not be wrong.Cousin Strawberry wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 1:23 pm There is extremely compelling evidence suggesting Doc will be proven wrong soon enough.
This again.
Yeahno, our Science today tells us Mars has never had life.

Re: Aliens
https://www.popularmechanics.com/space/ ... bial-life/Cheyava Falls is the most puzzling, complex, and potentially important rock yet investigated by Perseverance,” Caltech’s Ken Farley, Perseverance project scientist, said in a NASA press statement. “We have our first compelling detection of organic material, distinctive colorful spots indicative of chemical reactions that microbial life could use as an energy source, and clear evidence that water—necessary for life—once passed through the rock.”
While this site is particularly exciting, it’s far from the first Martian discovery to cause considerable microbial hype. Just earlier this year, scientists studying a 2017 soil analysis from Curiosity’s ongoing mission in Gale Crater discovered an abundance of manganese in the soil—something that usually requires the presence of oxygen and (you guessed it) microbes.
The lights told me they came from outer space Doc.

Re: Aliens
How long have humans had radio telescopes?
Currently, that is the standard for detecting life elsewhere in the cosmos. Radio emissions, whether intentional or detritus.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

This Mars rock shit comes up every once in awhile, stirring up fervent fanaticsCheyava Falls is a rock discovered on Mars by NASA's Perseverance rover...
The rock's composition suggests it was once exposed to water. However, there are alternative, non-biological explanations for its features.

Re: Aliens
Is the reason you're in denial of aliens because they visit you so often?

Sumas Mtn is a hotspot for sightings. Otherworldly visits...
Do you remember an owl at your bedroom window? Was it trying to get inside?

Re: Aliens
“Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!
But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money!” - George Carlin

Re: Aliens
Looks like NASA has declared that they have discovered more signs of microbial life left on Mars rocks.
Doc, when you see this after your opium den ripper, it may soon be time to join me in celebrating the existence of life being present other planets.
They'll have to come up with a new version of the Bible too...we can call it The cousin Strawberry edition.

Re: Aliens
A revision to the Bible has been in the works for awhile, especially the part about the universe being 6,000 years old. I hear dinosaurs will be edited in as well.
The oldest known modern human (Homo sapiens) is represented by fossils from Jebel Irhoud, Morocco, dating back about 350,000 years. In contrast, the oldest fossil evidence of early hominins, like Sahelanthropus or Orrorin, shows signs of bipedalism and dates to 6-7 million years ago.
The bible is in deep trouble, it’s going by way of the dodo bird.
