If he’s healthy

Big gamble that either pays off or doesn’t. Eichel has a very serious neck injury. The Sabres were never going to win this trade it’s a lot of money to take on a serious injury

Eichel is a talent for sure, if healthy, just not sure if he’s a “winner”

Do you think EP is a winner?

Boeser?

Serious question.

Buffalo’s ultra losing ways during the Eichel years is definitely a concern. Was it all his fault? No, but shitballz he’s generational! Ain’t he?

Kevyn Adams tweeted that Tkachuk was not part of Calgary's trade proposal. Anyway, typical outcome for the flames. Bridesmaids again
Saw that, but perhaps it should have been? Tkachuk's $9,000,000 qualifying offer would have been nice for the Flames to unload if a healthy $10,000,000 Eichel was the return.
The qualifying offer is definitely a concern for the Flames. It's hard to say if Tkachuk was part of the Flames offer. I suspect he was, but the Flames didn't want it leaked. I'm sure Treliving was furious. The leak had to have come from the Buffalo side. Adams backtracked on the rumor because other GMs would be hesitant to work with a GM that leaks trade info during trade negotiations. I wonder how this is going to affect Tkachuk. Apparently Treliving met briefly with Tkachuk last evening to try and dispel the rumor.

He didn't have much of a supporting cast.

yup. He is pretty damn good at it as well!

I think they are both serious competitors, but not proven winners....yet.

I'm not sure about Boeser, but Petey for sure.

I actually like Petey and Boeser’s compete level, Topic Avoidance Officer, I don’t worry about those two regarding winning attitude. They bring it. Is that what you were looking for, Chief?

lol, ask you a simple question to get your opinion on the matter because, honestly, I have no idea because I have seen them play for 20 fucking minutes of their careers and I get sarcasm and name calling in return.

If I did not respect your opinion I wouldn't have asked.

Next time I won't.

In years past, there has been fire in Pettersson's play and attitude. You could see him on the bench being far harder on himself for mistakes than coaches could ever be. It is something I haven't seen from him this season.

As someone noted the other day, when ever he lost a puck battle in the past, he fought like mad to make amends. He had this odd spin move while falling that he used effectively.

Boesser has never been overly noticeable away from the puck, but if you look for him, he is more often than not in position and has improved that aspect substantially. Definitely more low key, but has a fucking rocket of a shot.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Boeser was Vancouver’s best forward last year

Petey missed 30 games, not worried about him or Boeser. Petey will get ‘er sorted

10-4 Dude...appreciate the intel.

Looking forward to seeing both of them step it up then.

Hughes I noticed some special in the other night already.

Those 2 not so much (yet).

I liked what I saw of the Russian and the little Swedish tank as well.

And the goalie.

We've got some pieces for sure.
