As a young dude back in the day, I was doing the leg of my European backpacking tour, starting in London. At the hostel, they offered a "Continental" breakfast every morning.

To be safe, I stayed away from the dairy and thus avoided the cold, American-style cereas. Instead, I foolishly had the local "specialties"... everything was lukewarm, including the orange juice which was half juice and half diluted with water. Warm fuckin' OJ. Metamucil would have been better.

Even though it was the most unappetizing looking "food", I had a wee bit of it. Stewed to-mah-toes, tasteless beans-on-toast, half-cooked bacon... yeah, that's how they serve it.

8am breakfast. Releasing hot snakes on the throne until noon.

"Free" has its costs.

Instant noodles in the UK. Enjoy yourself on the continent. Best advice ever.

There is discussion of unification between Romania and Moldova. Moldova was part of Romania between the world wars, before being annexed by the Soviet Union at the end of WW2. The population speaks Romanian, and the two countries have strong cultural, linguistic and historical ties. They even have the same flag, even though Moldova has added some kind of bird to theirs. And half the Moldovan population already hold Romanian passports, that allow them to live and work in the EU. There are 19 million Romanians and less than 3 million people in Moldova.

Moldova is a candidate country for entering the EU, but reunification with Romania could fast track that process.
The current PM of Moldova has said she would vote in favour of reunification if a referendum was held.

The main problem is that the russians have forces stationed in Transnistria, a breakaway region of Moldova, much like they do in South Ossetia in Georgia and the Donbass region and Crimea in Ukraine. But since Moldova is a landlocked country, sandwiched between Romania and Ukraine, the russians in Transnistria are completely isolated at the moment, not having any routes in or out of the region.

Romania has suggested that a future peace agreement between russia and Ukraine should include the withdrawal of russian troops from Transnistria.
