I’m not a big fan of LA but they have some nice prospects. They absolutely have some top line talent there. On D and especially up front.

And Doyle, whom might those players be whom you feel are “bonafide top line forwards and D”?

Turcotte and Bjornfoot are locks to be top line or top pairing guys. Vilardi needs to get his feet under him. He has 9 points in 12 games as a 20 year old. I think he should be at minimum a second line guy. The guy has played 40 hockey games in he last three seasons. Akil Thomas, J.A.D. and Arthur Kaliyev all look they they will play somewhere in the middle six. Not to mention Rasmus Kupari or the other big Swede they have on the junior team who’s having a nice season in the SHL. Mikey Anderson may be a player. Lots of depth to go along with the high end skill.

Last August Sporting News did a top 50 nhl affiliated prospects list. Three Kings were on the list - Turcotte at 16, Kupari at 30, Grundstrom at 41.

No Bjornfort, no Anderson Dolan, no Vilardi

Podkozlin was on the list at 15 along with Hughes at 12

Yes 9 points in 12 games in the AHL is awful for a 20 year old who’s missed most of the last three years.
