Genocide is comical? It's not people thinking it. The world has witnessed it.
What's actually comical is the Israeli Olympic bobsled team.

If you could have read my censored post you would know I'm not laughing at that. I was laughing at Donny for the finger gun deletion of my magic

Again...we have several threads we can discuss genocide in.

This is true and I do apologize for the indiscretion but sometimes great works of art just happen when they happen

It's like having sex in a public place. It just more exciting than the bedroom.

Brendan MacKay half pipe (skis) bronze.
18 medals.
With assured podiums in men's hockey and curling if the ladies curling team beat the US for a Bronze Canada is into the low 20's, 5 off their Beijing pace.
In other news World Cup winner Reece Howden was unable to acheive his hoped for medal and ripped the conditions for the ski cross event afterwards.
In fact the entire 4 man team suffered earlier than expected exits due to heavy snow conditions resulting in highly unusual and difficult course conditions.

So 21 for sure, I’m not familiar enough with the events left and if Canada has a shot at the podium.
Decent showing!
Taking the gold in hockey will definitely cap off these olympics as well. Promises to be an exciting game!

We are in tough but there are still skiing and speed skating events we could hit the podium in (I think we still have qualifiers anyway...tough to keep up in the Euro time zone)...
...if hockey and curling win Gold that's 6 total.
I believe we had only 4 Gold of the 26 we won in Bejing.

These days, if we win the gold medal in men's hockey, that's the Olympics for me.

I imagine most here find it boring but curling can be a helluva exiting sport with chess like nuanced play involved.
There is a massive science to the game.
Good for Jacob's getting his second Olympic Gold.
He's been a great player for a long time and the only thing missing on his resume is a World Championship.
At 40 he still has a chance....
20.

Curling is actually quite popular around here. It likely the most talked about Olympic sport.
Usually something like, "I don't know why, but I'm REALLY enjoying watching Curling ".

Curling is a great TV sport! I really enjoy watching it.
With the view from above you see exactly how the stones are placed and the microphones pick up the discussions between team members before deciding what to attempt, so you get this rare insight into how they reason and what is happening.
Team Edin really bombed this year, which was a disappointment, but Team Wranå won the mixed double and Team Hasselborg has reached the women’s final.

Go live.
For Canadians if there is a Brier in your 'hood check it out.
Especially when Canada plays.
It can be a lot of fun.
Newfoundland this year.
Saskatoon next I think.
'28 undetermined.
Ditto World Championships.
The women's starts mid March in Calgary.
Kerri Einarson, 5 time Scotties champ and 2 time world bronze medlaist will represent Canada....she could use a world win for her resume.
Men's in Utah end of March.
Canadian rep tbd at the Brier in Nfld. noted above.....
Pers buddy Edin who surprisingly tapped out easily at the Olympics will be there hunting for his 8th World title.
