Allvin is bullshitting. Beauvillier gets a 2nd rd pick! Give me a break, Allvin. Something tells me Aqualini wouldn’t sign off. Fuck I hate this team

Agree. We all know this is on ownership. That is why I can understand not trading Boeser, they want that playoff revenue.2Fingers wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 12:51 pmThe first, BB would be a good add to a team and Canucks could have gotten a 1st for him.Mëds wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 12:48 pmDo you think it is because Aqualini would not sign-off on it or because around the league everyone knows the Canucks are bent over a barrel and treating them accordingly in any trade negotiations?Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 12:43 pm Allvin can barely speak. But Suter? He is at 1.6 mil and would have been a good depth asset to a cup contender. Trading him should not affect Vancouver's chances to sneak into the playoffs.

Re: 2025 Trade Deadline
A second for Beauvillier but no decent offers for Suter or Boeser. He's obviously lying and throwing Brock under the bus to cover it up.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 12:52 pm Allvin is bullshitting. Beauvillier gets a 2nd rd pick! Give me a break, Allvin. People on twitter (x) are wondering if there will be any "sell the team" chants tonight. If they have a rough game against Manny, there could be.

It must be a kick in the nuts for Boeser. Canucks could not give him away 2 years ago and now they can’t trade him as the offers were shit. No one wanted him badly enough to take a chance. Maybe that makes him easier to re-sign?

Load up on big retirement contracts on players turning 30 on the down side of their careers?

Re: 2025 Trade Deadline
I think if Canucks were offered a 1st for Boeser they would have jumped. But Allvin had previously said they were not interested in picks as much as they needed roster players with term. But I don’t buy they would turn down a first for him.

I'm certain they were offered a first. No way they weren't.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 1:02 pm I think if Canucks were offered a 1st for Boeser they would have jumped. Re: 2025 Trade Deadline
Why is it a kick in the nuts for Boeser? They offered him a very good deal. Nobody knows if Franky kiboshed a trade. Boeser, if he continues as he has, will be lucky to get 30 million over 4 or 5 years.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 12:58 pm It must be a kick in the nuts for Boeser. So a 1st in a poor draft from 24-32. And an owner telling you no.Megaterio Llamas wrote: ↑Fri Mar 07, 2025 1:04 pmI'm certain they were offered a first.
