That's crazy. Paracetamols are most likely the least problematic painkiller for a pregnant woman, but it is tough on the liver, which is why you should never take paracetamols when you have been drinking alcohol, and you should never ever overdose it.

Acetylsalisylic acid (eg Aspirin) increases the risk of bleeding, so can be problematic if you have ulcers. On the other hand, their bloodthinning effect can be good for people with heart problems. But there are better drugs for that.
Ibuprofens are the best anti-inflammatory painkillers, but can cause stomach problems so they are not great if you have IBS, and do strain your kidneys a bit. So don't take too much.

And stay away from the morphin ones at any cost, unless you are recovering from major surgery, and even then you should be really careful.

People tend to think that painkillers are harmless. They really aren't, but they are quite often the better option.
What is important though is that you should never ever take more than the recommended dose.

A liver, kidneys, and a functioning stomach and digestive system are all great things to have, imesho.

There's a real risk in overdosing Tylenol, and its known well enough that people who intend that end apply the method successfully.

Zealotry in support or opposition can be metaphorically blinding, but it cannot change physiology and pharmacology.
