Doyle Hargraves wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2019 5:51 pm Why bring up that they are 18 months apart.
First, Blob will accuse me of being a puppet or a sock or somesuch butthurt nonsense.

Then he will not acknowledge that brought up this age gap..."issue" and continue complaining about a mod attacking him.

Meanwhile, everyone else will continue to not care.
Great contribution... quoted for relevance

He's over 18 months older than Barrie.

But why are you trying to turn this into a Pietro vs Barrie conversation? :?
You’re right they aren’t comparable players. Not even close.

This conversation was about whether or not Pietro would be a good fit with the Jets

... until someone insisted we compare Pietro to Barrie for reasons known only to him.

But don't give up... whoever you are... maybe you'll find someone to have that convo...

Nobody insisted on anything. But it’s adorable that you still imagine things at your age.

First things first:
Nobody was dragged and nothing was insisted upon.

IMHO Pietrangelo MIGHT be on the block or Parayko for that matter given the RIDICULOUS amount of depth the Blues now have on the right side of their D. I BELIEVE AP will be signing his next deal in the 8-10 million dollar per year range. I’m not sure if it will be eight years long, it might be. I’ve already explained why I mentioned Barrie as he is a pending UFA same as AP. It’s been speculated that he may command upwards of 8 million per on a long term deal. You know all this and felt the need to nitpick that they were not a year apart, instead 18 months. Why bother? Do you think teams give much of a shit when they are drafting whether guys are born six months apart? Keep in mind these guys are separated by one draft year. To most folks they are a year apart. You chose to derail the thread and start throwing potshots. I could care less, I would rather discuss the players than the other nonsense, but hey keep on keepin on. I like seeing you get angry.

See, that's you dragging Barrie into the convo.

Then you continued to compare the two players even though no one was interested in engaging.

That's you insisting we talk about Barrie vs Pietro.

We know this perverse desire springs from your intense fantasy about Canucks signing Pietro next summer.

(rather than the rumoured Barrie)

But Canucks shouldn't spend the $3M extra per year Pietro would cost.

Also Pietro is 18 months older than Barrie, so there's that.

And Pietro is getting traded-to/resigning-with Winnipeg, so there's that as well.

No one is interested in comparing Pietro to Barrie because Pietro is obviously the better, albeit older, player.

Always a pleasure conversing with you Hargraves.

Yawn... fart. Keep cropping little snippets of posts. Twist it into a knot and derail another thread. Rinse and repeat.
