What do you mean doesn't give a shit Dude?
An assumption, only, so don’t hit me hard on my semantics, but when I do the math on the days numbered in old man territory I imagine Rutherford ain’t here to play the long game and that fits perfectly with what the Aqualini’s want in their front office.
Yeah...wasn't intending to hit you at all...simply seeking clarification.
There is perhaps another good discussion topic for the site laying in the bowels of your commentaries.
Are Rutherford and Allvin 100% on the same page?
Or is there unspoken divergence of process festering in the backs of minds?
If you delve deep into how they got to where they are, the crucial poor decision when we look back was to trust that EP and JTM can be adults and figure it the fuck out like real men should have been able to do.
They built this city out of have a strong 1-2 punch down the middle and once those 2 fucktards decided that they can't be real men, all bets are off
I bet 99.99% of all human beings on earth would have bet on that scenario as well, even you Mëds lol
The only way they could have actually salvaged things once it was determined to be untenable moving forward would have to been to secure trades for both fucktatds behind closed doors. The likelihood of that happening when they made the Miller trade would've been next to impossible mid season with everyone having tied up all their cap space.
The blame should lie on both Miller and Pettersson. The two of them are the real idiots in all this
I see Allvin as torn, he aligns more with Linden, Gillis’ and Nonis “long term” vision but knows better to suggest as much to his bosses so in order to save his own ass he keeps his head down and tries to be likeable. Rutherford is actually a perfect fit for the Aqualini’s. Jimmy Old Man could give two shits beyond this season.

EP is an equal share in the idiot category. I watched him (after Miller came back from his 10 game vacation)totally bail on a faceoffand stare at Miller right after losing the draw. This after Miller was tossed and was talking strategy in a huddle where EP was clearly not impressed.
Horvat and Petey got along, the right decision would have been keeping Horvat and trading Miller at peak value. That’s where it began to go wrong.
Or is it “begun”?
Anyhow, it’s been a shit show since despite the one playoff run which was just a tease no different than the 2015 playoff run and bubble playoffs. This team makes more adjustments than Chef adjusts in trying to make up for bad decisions. They are caught in a vicious spin cycle

I just can’t figure out if it’s our pro scouting that’s the problem or Allvin and Rutherford. The whole trying to retread other teams deadweight is getting tiresome. Also, our obsession with failed first round picks (Reichel, Kravtsov) needs to stop, now. I’m seeing a few of your usual Canuck Twitter dingbats are now clamouring for Allvin to trade for that other 1st round pick bust in Brad Lambert. Stop the nonsense. Ths desperation is getting ridiculous.
When you have 5 or 6 forwards out, you are really just looking for plugs for the holes. 3 plugs for a 4th is fine (Reichel, Krabsov, Kampf).
But there is no way in hell we would trade our 1st for Lambert. He’s worth Klimovich and a 5th/Bains imo at most, as he is another shitty lottery ticket.
The biggest reason this team reeks right now is the putrid drafting from 2019 - 2021. The puking away of picks and getting two 4th line players out of the 20 picks they made. Podkolzin and Hoglander. Completely hamboned the team. Unacceptable.
