Another one bites the dust

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Sad. Ex Flyer, Flame and briefly a Canuck. Cut his teeth with the Victoria Cougars. Tougher than a two dollar steak.

Sticking with the NHL.

Leon Stickle passed this week.

Would have lined many Bridgman games during his 30 year career.

Loved that team. Because I got to watch a lot of games with my old man on the TV, he loved that team too.

Knew most of those players by name even though his English wasn't very good. Every time Sikma unleashed his awkward white man mini skyhook, I heard him chuckle.

RIP Dad.

Amen to that. I miss my girl every day and my stepmom. Numerous friends and relatives. My Dad started the chain in 2017. I seem to lose 1-3 important people every year.

Obviously the wife stings the most but watching sports with Dad was the best. My Dad truly got me fwiw. Don't know what you got till its gone.

Thx for the msg Blobber. He didn't have it easy in life and those teams gave him a bit of joy that we could share together.

Even though I can't put myself in your shoes, we can remember the good times with our loved ones while missing them?

Keep on trucking, man.
