Heavy is the Tarp...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Benning traded Schaller, Madden, a second round pick, and a conditional 4th for Toffoli, only to watch Toffoli walk away early in free agency. So i don't know, does that constitute as good asset management??

I prefer to give credit where credit is due. Can they trade Virtanen while he's awaiting arbitration? Pulock just filed so maybe they can swap arbitration cases with the Islanders. lol

After a few folks set records in the Pants Shitting Olympics, Micky says "Hold my beer."Micky wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 1:17 pm Just missing the playoffs this year will be a huge step backwards. Bad for the attitude of the fans that would, hopefully, buy tickets or keep their tickets, to games for the year after.
A "go thru the motions" style season, where the team might even become a lottery, team again would also be a real pisser for the high
profile players on the team. Pettersson, Hughes, Horvat, Boeser, and I can't even imagine how pissed JT Miller would be. NOT good.

Season doesn't start til January boys...

It's a typical deadline rental trade that paid off.

Holy shit Toronto making cap room dealing Andreas Johnsson. Could see them going after Bogosian.
Interesting Saad/Zadorov deal between Bowman and Sakic.

Nah, they don't have any room despite dumping Johnsson (for basically nothing).Curmudgeon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 4:11 pm Holy shit Toronto making cap room dealing Andreas Johnsson. Could see them going after Bogosian.
They're within $2.3M of the cap and still have to re-sign Mikheyev and Dermott.
($2M each?)
And even if they manage to re-sign those two, they'd still be at only 22 players.
Yeah, they'll be looking to dump Kerfoot next (good luck widdat!).

Well shit, they didn't need any space, Leaves got Bogosian for just $1M x 1.Strangelove wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 4:44 pmNah, they don't have any room despite dumping Johnsson (for basically nothing).Curmudgeon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 4:11 pm Holy shit Toronto making cap room dealing Andreas Johnsson. I wonder if they trade off Dermott now...

Keep it up Dubas. You too can manage to dump all of your depth. (Btw, mouth-breathers, Toronto's salary structure and current shoit-show is exactly why we didn't really want OEL at a full cap hit)

What's the deal with Madison Bowey? Wasn't he a guy everybody was hot on a few years ago?
