We have acquired goaltender Mike Condon and a 2020 sixth-round pick from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for Ryan Callahan and a 2020 fifth-round pick. http://tbl.co/moves7-30

Maybe not, ESQ, why wouldn't they want a talent like LE?

Damn, shucks and all that stuff...

1 year! LOL!

They obviously were shooting for the instant gratification model of NHL team management. No wonder they suck

Sheesh kinda bad look imo for the Wild ownership Craig Leopold.

russo: "Some candidates include former Philadelphia Flyers GM Ron Hextall, former Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli, former San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings GM Dean Lombardi and former New York Islanders GM Garth Snow."

Mike Gillis has a proven track record of taking a team stuck on the porch and turning them into contenders...

Seems Fenton wanted to get younger on his old team of the Wild, while the owner wants to win NOW. Almost similar situation Jim Benning stepped into back in 2014 with the Canucks, an old stale team, but stuck with NTC's and the Sedins locked up. While the Wild still have the old ass Parise and Suter locked up for another 6 years!

Fenton has a great development track record with the Predators, draft/develop is his skillset.
http://predators.ice.nhl.com/club/page. ... PaulFenton his best trade he helped facilitate was for Selanne to create the dynamic duo of Kariya/Selanne.

TSN:
Veteran forward Zach Parise also expressed concern for the state of the franchise last week.

This was quite interesting I thought.

It's Jim's fault because he wouldn't bend over and give Fenton Boeser for Zucker.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
