Re: The Petey Predicament

Not sure if he’s playing with an injury, or deep in the doghouse, but Mason McTavish has been playing 4th line minutes for months. Last night he was healthy scratched as the Ducks evened the series in Vegas.

Is Petey for McT straight up doable?

Re: What We've Got (Looking Ahead With Current Contracts)

You don’t need to buy out Hoglander. His salary is a joke, but it’s still below the threshold and he can be waived and sent to the farm with a minimal cap hit. Given the struggles he’s had over the past two years, some time in the minors could do him some good. As for Chytil, why pay him to get lost ...

Re: Ownership and Management (These fuckin' guys™)

Here’s a different angle on the subject.

Jim has pointedly alluded to the fact he’s got one foot out the door.

All the talk has been about the GM search. What if the GM is already known, Johnson, and the search is in fact for Jim’s replacement?

Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

Rumour out there by Nick Kypreos is that if Rutherford does decide to can Alvin - that Minny might be interested in bringing him on. That would be some awesome maneuvering, on Alvin's part, and we might all be seeing the greatest hoodwink in the modern era! Trade the best player you have to a rival ...

We do need someone who can take a regular shift on the fourth line and thrown down, tho.

From what little I’ve seen of KK at training camp, he’s a real fluid skater with a strong lower base.

I don’t see Douglas as a natural fighter. Just a big man who holds on. Nice he got his first goal, tho

Like to see Hronek hit 50 points.

Blueger should be re-signed.

How is Kk looking?

How did Douglas do against Veil?

I can think of 92,800,000 reasons, a dead dad and a locker room washing machine why Quinn is not a quitter.

Why the fuck do fans think he should shed a tear for Vancouver?

Incompetent and incontinent management has made the town intolerable.
Ownership. This is all on the ownership.

Well done 5th. That is a beast!

Corn, have you tried lump charcoal? Can you taste the difference between lump and briquettes?

I haven’t used briquettes, but are definitely more readily available. I just don’t like the idea of chemically treated fuel.

Couldn’t find the “media” thread in my limited time to search, but whispers coming out there will be a new team owned sports talk radio show.

Tune into everything Canucks on FM 92.8 “The Flake”
