Re: Who Do U Want to See as Next GM of the Nucks?

Out there today that the Sedins have been approached for a larger role within the organization.

Halford & Brough speculating that the GM search has all been just due diligence for appearances sake when they want Johnson and the Sedins leading the front office.

FFS.

Re: The Petey Predicament

While the sentiments regarding a wished for outcome are a bit strong in the dark side of the force.....I think Matheson's hit is the quintessential example of why some of us have never been a fan of this guy. I have NEVER seen a player get rag doll tossed like that before. He was borderline KO'd ...

Which one of them plays 3C then?

Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition

Watching Hughes in the playoffs makes me even more angry at TFGs and why I want this stench... every one of those responsible to be fired into the sun. I won't mollycoddle a grown-ass man who demanded the keys to the franchise-mobile and promptly drove it into the ditch. Hughes would have been ...

Re: Who Do U Want to See as Next GM of the Nucks?

I brought Golds name to this site 4 months ago as a conversation piece and one who would/could be a next step in our evolution in building a real front office and team and not one of you chumps bit (or even knew who the fuck he was). And here he is in the final 2. I'm tired of defending him. I don ...

So was JR :look:
And was it JR or Allvin who other teams talked to for the big stuff?

Re: What We've Got (Looking Ahead With Current Contracts)

The numbers are half the reason most of us want him traded. I thought it was the salary? If he was making 5 or 6, would you keep him? Salaries are also numbers. ;P If he was making $6M I wouldn’t care either way. If I was the GM I would have moved him out just on the reports that he is difficult to ...

At contracts end?
At this point it’s not rebound, it’s reclamation.

Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition

Anaheim playing excellent 5-on-5, the better team actually.

Down 3-0 after the first period. LV is crazy opportunistic on special teams.

I'm also enjoying seeing Marner prove to Tarrana that he was NOT the problem there.

Re: Who Do U Want to See as Next GM of the Nucks?

I think it's that he has been part of the front-office that collapsed a 50 win team to last place in the league. Sure, he's GM of Abby, but he's an AGM of the Canucks. Sometimes you need fresh blood.

This was outright denied. Do you have a link showing otherwise?

Without question.

I'd even throw in a 2nd or 3rd round pick to get it done with no retention.
