Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Could probably target CBJ as well, they have room and will have even more in 25/26. David Jiricek is listed as one of the top prospects not in the NHL right now, sounds like a great option for a long term Hughes partner. Young, but has the size already! https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/scouts-an...

Re: Bountiful/Coilers Thread

She looks haggard in the Chicklets interview! Haha.

Really should’ve asked her to prove her identity.

Re: 4 Nations Face-off 2025

Canada and the USA don’t take the World Championship seriously, and so they want to have a dress rehearsal before the first real international tournament with all the best players participating since 2014. Not really that we don't take it seriously, just that many of NA's best are still playing rel...

Re: 2024 Playoffs Discussion / Predictions

Zero chance Dry or McCry get suspended for anything they do that doesn't render someone feeding from a tube.

Looks like FLA made some adjustments from game 1 and took it to the Coil game 2.

Be interesting to see if the home crowd can get EDM back in the series!

Yeah this is how the geeks make their money!

*starts buying a bunch of nhl-cap related web domains*

But then realized somehow “capfriendly” hit ……. gives up. The geeks rule the world!

Re: 2024 NHL Draft

The one place that could really be interesting in EP is Utah. I’m sure they’d love to have a face for their inaugural season!

#6 and Crouse?

For sure, if I’m Chicago I’m building for 4-5 years from now. Use the high picks!

2024 NHL Draft

Can’t seem to open the other one at all so figured with the draft upcoming may as well fire up a new one. Final rankings here: https://www.nhl.com/draft/prospects 2nd year in a row a big Canucks fan will go 1OA. Celebrini still the consensus #1. You guys know I’ve been high on Jerome’s kid watching ...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

There are 2 other teams that let him slide after us as well.

Some guys just take a while, were we really going to keep him around until 2020? And even then may not have been the right fit!

FLA seems to suit him. Right person, right seat!

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

We get one more year of Poolmans LTIR which essentially offsets OELs buyout hit next season. The 25/26 season OELs buyout hit is much more and we don’t get Poolman’s relief anymore either. However, the hope is with Arizona gone the cap will increase much more substantially for that season enabling ...

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

I disagree with your early season assessment, he wasn't playing well but was somehow accumulating points (assists and PP goals), but not driving the play in any way. His only strong don't was the NY reuniting of the lotto line. Well, I didn't say he was driving play just that he showed he was very ...

Utah Blizzard just makes me think of DQ. Good cross promotion I guess!

What would be in an Utah Blizzard? Salt, honey and mormons?

Re: 2024 Offseason - moving forward

So are you saying you're in the camp to trade Hronek for Necas or to keep Hronek? I don't think Petey is a guy that will be getting Necas the puck (I'm assuming that's who you mean).....Pettersson doesn't have the first step speed or strength on the puck to create space. I’ll disagree a bit with yo...
