Re: Canucks News N Notes 25-26

One of those moves where we would have taken more notice if they didn’t sign him. Kid is seems destined to be a depth 7th/8th defenceman. He can skate and make a pass, but there’s nothing standout in his game. He (Mancini) seems to be a big upgrade on Juulsen, our previous 7/8 Dman. I think he will ...

Canucks magic number down to 12 points (or six regulation loses)
Hockey Gods. Paegan magic? All we need now is to sacrifice Kane in a volcano.

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Yeah, but, if Anaheim needs to shed salary, I'd be happy with MMcT over Mancini and Raty. He is a way better centre than Raty, and we have internal replacements for Mancini.

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Anaheim is either going to have some top level GMing with contracts (as a Canuck fan, I don't know what that looks like), or they are expected to be about $10 mil over the cap.

MMac ($7mil) for Raty, Mancini and 2 2nds solves their problem, and fills another hole for us.

Re: The Petey Predicament

Cutter and Leo due for hefty raises. Mint and Zellweger to a lesser degree. I could see them re-signing Gudas, Trouba at 32 is having a bit of a resurgence. I could see Pettersson agreeing to waive to Cali, and they could use another vet up front. MM’s ice time has been on the decline for several m ...

Re: The Petey Predicament

Mason McTavish and Anaheim are likely parting ways. That team is shedding a lot of money this summer, they’re gonna need to reach the floor. CapWages shows them way over the cap if they bring everyone back. But, their top 3 RD will average age 35 next year too if they bring back Carlson, Gudas and T ...

Mason McTavish and Anaheim are likely parting ways. That team is shedding a lot of money this summer, they’re gonna need to reach the floor. He’s having a down year for sure. But it’s not insanely bad. He could go on a heater and grab 10-12 points over their last 14 games. Suddenly his season gets w ...

Re: The Petey Predicament

Petey is just coming into his prime, age wise. If he can get his head straight, we could see 5 or 6 good years from him.

Step 1. Admit there is a problem
Step 2. Work on problem
Step 3. Do what your shrink says
.
.
.
.

Step 12. We win the cup.

Or something like that.

Re: The Petey Predicament

I have my spot picked out on Georgia Street for the 2027 riot after we win the cup. 2 goals from Petey means the rebuild is over, right?

They might have to play as a team, and not just the dynamic duo.
