Why would their captain lower himself to that level?

There isn't a guy on the Jets with more than 34 penalty minutes.

More likely, if he plays, because why change a "winning" lineup he pulls a Matt Rempe, thugs it up, and takes a stupid penalty.

He averages 8 or 9 a year. So he might have one more left in this year. Not tonight, though. Or maybe he won't find there's a reason to until next year (if he's still here).
