W-GDT: Canucks @ Bolts Nov 16 2pm - SNP, ESPN+

Another day on the road for the Walking Dead.
No idea yet who's suiting up, and I'm guessing Foote is in the same boat.
The only bright spot is that Lankinen seems to step a bit when he's not 'the backup'.
We face a lightning bay team that has won 8 of its last 10, including a game last night against FLA.
So to recap:
Lots of injuries
Facing a hot team

Early east coast start

First of a back-to-back
But.... this team has shown to be resilient, and just might surprise us.
GO CANUCKS GO

Good news back-up goalie.
Bad news he is 3-1, 2.83, .913.
Maybe he will get a shutout.
As an aside Brayden Point is sucking the hind tit this year which is helping none of my pools.
Being it's the Canucks....

You have to tip your hat to this rookie Canucks coaching staff. They've endured unprecedented injury challenges and have for the most part kept this team in games against opponents they probably have no business hanging with. All this despite pretty mediocre goaltending to boot.

Yeah...agreed...actually made mention of this last week in a post about something else.
The team has nuts, and doesn't quit.
Coaches get credit for that....

Hronek bolded.
Read somewhere he is in protocol?
Also read he is top total minutes guy in the league this year.
A number of key Lightning missing as well....

Just how slow and weak are the Vancouver wingers anyway? They just don't win puck battles on ring arounds do they? Like ever?
