I'm pretty interested, best on best - I know some have said it won't have the intensity of the real thing (IE: Olympics etc.) - as it is a mid-season tourney, with teammates against each other.

I look at it more as an alternative to the stupid ASG etc., a chance to see a PP of Crosby, Mackinnon, McDavid, Reinhart and Makar go to work. Do feel a bit bad for the Fins, injuries have really taken a toll on their depth.

Just a way better version of an ASG

And how could I forget - Jerry Springer level interest in Saturday's Sweden v. USA.

Sorry Megs - that wasn't my intent... I'll be watching just to see how invested the players are, and to see if Petey 'adjusts' to his new team.

I'm predicting these first few games will be played with an intensity between an ASG and the pre-season. The final game - winner take all? That could be interesting.

Ah I'm just kidding Corn, I was planing to watch it. Or some of it anyway. The Canada vs USA game Saturday should be a good one.
