And yet Elmo was a genius for constructing this world beating roster. Eight years in and the team still sucks.

The way they are calling this and commentating you'd think Edmonton was holding off Tampa or Vegas or Colorado.

At least not a shutout.

Yeah. The genius may have some chops when it comes to drafting, but it's not looking like he's got any kind of ability to put some actual moxie out on the ice. Our most aggressive player is 5'8" tall.

And the genius definitely is not so much that when it comes to hiring and firing coaches. If you believe in your roster and you continually get shit results and come out flat game after game, then you have to make a change behind the bench. Once again the worst team in the division, time to pull the plug and flush the coach now if you want even a hope of salvaging this mess this season.

So disappointing. Oilers, Sharks, Kings win and Flames looking like they will too. Canucks could be in last place in the division tomorrow at this time. I didn't expect this.

Brock gets his 100th. I would have rather seen him punch that Oiler in the head for shoving his stick down the ice. Show some growl. This teem needs more growl, grit, tenacity and most of all structure. This game was horrible.

When Green was extended I was bracing for this but hoping for bounce back from a few guys.

When Petey and Hughes held out and missed training camp and pre-season I was concerned that hope had been erroneous.

After the season opener I fully expected what we see right now.

Just a little slump boys...
