Sheahan deal will be one-year at $900K. He’s at the point where he needs to prove he can still help an NHL team. Oilers get a team-friendly deal because of that.
Looking very likely that Riley Sheahan will sign a one-year deal with the #Oilers shortly. He’s a 27-year-old, left shot centre who they’re hoping will be their 3C this season.

Keller career stats- 37 goals in 167 games while never missing a game with injury
Boeser career stats- 59 goals in 140 games while rehabbing that devastating injury
Not sure where you're going eith that except to my Boeser to Pavel comparison...but that was more for reference
Keller had 65 points in his rookie season and slumped a bit last season. Do assists not count for anything? You need playmakers too. As I said I’d rather have Boeser. I just don’t think there’s a massive gap between the two players.
The comparison of Boeser to the best player to have ever played for Vancouver seemed a little far fetched. Hargraves will let it slide though.

Sorry GM Micky, but you think Boeser would have signed an 8 year extension while he was recovering from a broken back?
It was never gonna happen, and for very good reasons the contract negotiation had to be put off to this summer. Why would Benning commit to someone who may never play hockey at an elite level again, and why would Boeser commit when his value is low due to a horrible injury?
OK; January this year. Enough was known at that point, by both parties that 7 for 7 was realistic. I think.
Seemed back to speed by then. To wait with all the others to see who gets what, is gross.
Would imagine there are fans in other cities, pissed as well. Hesitating on their final season's ticket purchase.
Is this side show going to happen every year to this degree? Hope not.

I was avoiding the assists because it goes in kellers favour but the wiz will let it slide...
Boeser was trending into elite territory until he got clusterbucked and that is the truth. I still think he could be a 50 goal man but twin 60s...not gonna happen.

So you would have held a gun to Brock's head and forced him to sign?

Why would Boeser commit to that if he feels he’s worth more (he is) than 7x7.

What else are we gonna do in the off-season?
Though this, and the previous 2 / 3 weeks is still the off season, it would be marvelous to talk about something
other than HOLDOUTS, but if you consider that entertaining, it's a wonderful off season this time for you.
I'm thinking Boeser might risk missing camp but will sign by Oct 2nd for sure. Some of these guys are starting to cave and sign now so it wont be much longer

They're not HOLDOUTS unless they don't report for training camp
... but yes, I thoroughly enjoy watching extended negotiations slowly driving YOU mad.

I'm thinking Boeser will be the next of those top young RFAs to sign (before camp).
