Blueger joined the morning skate in a non-contact jersey.

We're finally going to see Mein Kampf manifest to leading the SSecond line tonight?

Third Reichel has collapsed and has fallen back to the Fourth line it appears.

Good to hear about Bueger's imminent return.

Someone going to do a GDT?

I find it interesting how Allvin and Rutherford completely disregard the book on players. Tells you how desperate their thinking is.

It was a desperation move, but it was cheap. Throw whatever turds you can find, throw them at the wall and see who sticks. In fairness to the kid, they thrust him into a role he isn’t built to do; he may do better on the wings but he’s a slip of a lad that doesn’t have a stand-out skill. At least Lekkerimaki has a shot.

Looks like Reichel could be on his third team this year
“Lukas Reichel was a healthy scratch last night. One point in 13 games, no shots on goal in the last six. With Höglander and Blueger not far away, a Lekkerimäki call-up not far away, Reichel is now available. I heard last night that you can get Reichel out of Vancouver. I think they’re okay with trying to move him is what I was told last night.”

It was a failure of the will.

I just can’t figure out if it’s our pro scouting that’s the problem or Allvin and Rutherford. The whole trying to retread other teams deadweight is getting tiresome. Also, our obsession with failed first round picks (Reichel, Kravtsov) needs to stop, now. I’m seeing a few of your usual Canuck Twitter dingbats are now clamouring for Allvin to trade for that other 1st round pick bust in Brad Lambert. Stop the nonsense. Ths desperation is getting ridiculous.

It's moves like the previous regime did.
Seems like the organization is regressing.

There’s a pattern, I liken it to a succumbing to the powers that be, tow the company line and you’ll last as long as Benning, don’t tow the company line and you can exit the same way Nonis, Gillis and Linden did. Rutherford I believe caters to what the Aqualini’s demand. The younger Allvin tries to run interference without running interference. In my heart of hearts Allvin means well, while old man Rutherford at his age and time served truly doesn’t give a shit. Rutherford isn’t here to rebuild which is why he fits nicely.

An exaggeration, how old is Rutherford? Not sure. I guess I could Google it. But what strikes me especially at my age so I can somewhat relate, is the long term picture isn’t a concern for old men, so you’re just happy if you can wake up another day, So I can get why he is opposed to a “rebuild” whereas the younger Allvin not so much opposed. An assumption, only, so don’t hit me hard on my semantics, but when I do the math on the days numbered in old man territory I imagine Rutherford ain’t here to play the long game and that fits perfectly with what the Aqualini’s want in their front office.
