Rantanen on this team instead of Boeser.....you're probably paying $13M for a guy who scores 75 points. I'd rather pay Brock $8M for 60 points.

LOL, if you think Rantanen is a 75pt. player - that would make Brock at 30 point player in that same universe.

He's pacing well below that since leaving MacKinnon.

Posted in another thread, but I would phoning Winnipeg to see if they wanted Boeser as a rental for their run. Boeser has a 10 team no trade list but I could see Winnipeg as being 1 of the teams he would go to. That have a lot of cap space and picks to trade too.

Something like:

Boeser for their 1st + cap dump/B prospect

During the times that in Colorado, that MacKinnon was injured, a total of 54 games, Rantanen has 23 goals, 32 assists, and a plus-minus of +21.

He just got traded after thinking he was going to retire in COL. Cut him a bit of slack over the 8 games its been.

Considering Winnipeg's proximity to the Twin Cities.....yeah, I could see Boeser playing there for a playoff run.

Where did you find those stats so quickly?

Actually curious.

Only other possible trade possibilities I would see with Winnipeg would be moving Forbert/Soucey for mid picks as depth D for their run.

TBH, none of these moves I would see affecting the Canucks chances of making the playoffs.

Call the Rangers to see who's feelings Miller has hurt.

Yeah, I don't think the Jets have anything that we would want in exchange for giving up Boeser. Their 1st is going to be 27the or below.

He certainly hasn't hurt anyone in a fistfight.

Cozens really needs to stop dropping the gloves, Kotkaniemi knocked him out the other night. Cozens makes JT Miller, Linden and Murzyn look like Bob Probert he’s that bad. They say the demise of Cozens game began after dropping his gloves with Hathaway, he was knocked out. Cozens missed two games after the fight with a broken nose. Cozens was never the same after the Hathaway fight. Losing to Kotkaniemi won’t help Cozens in getting his confidence back.

Anyhow, stay the F away from Cozens

He wore one. Big deal. Miller got fed twice in a row by non fighters. He picked two fights and got filled in. Mëds and the Miller gang are incensed. People enraged at Allvin and canceling SN subscriptions and chanting that they'll only cheer for JT from now on. Its adorable.

We need a top two line centre for bird Bones Swede. Barzal, Sillinger or Cozens.... just losing the cap space is huge. Fuck I did so much hand holding the last decade trying to let the helmet crew know that CAP SPACE ALWAYS MATTERS.

Cozens and their 1st. Move on.

Watching EP skate around lately...dude moves like he just started taking lessons recently ffs. What the fuck????

I've had enough too...if you can get a younger C with higher potential like DC and possibly their 1st then you pull that trigger. As Blob says, getting out of that contract is like gaining another asset all unto itself
