They've been lucky that the Czech goalie has been about as good as Tim's holiday meal.

Cooter looks like a wee boy playing with his older brother and his buddies. Did he shrink or...?

Parekh is pretty good offensively apparently. Only Bobby Orr was better at scoring goals in the CHL or something.

Sounds OK to me.

Nah, he looked small when he was here. I'm surprised no one noticed then.

If I'm being honest, I think the Czechs were the better team tonight.

So, Scooter n' Cooter gonna take us to the promised land, huh? Sounds like really bad Saturday morning cartoon. Yeah, I'm still of the opinion that we should get as many picks as possible.

He definitely still has nightmares about that bear attack

First game of the round robin.....Canada looked scrambled and out of sync. Not at all unusual for Canada at this tournament.

Germany's goaltender was very good against the USA.....despite giving up 6. That game should have been 12-3.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Canada’s game at the WJC’s has been scrambled and out of sync for awhile, Mëds. This isn’t nothing new if you’ve been watching the last few WJC’s. I expect this to continue. The players tend to go individual, can’t make a pass to save their lives half the time.

Well....with Latvia (yes I know about last year) and Denmark as their next 2 games the schedule maker was in their favour with respect to opportunity to gel.

At least they have someone in charge who can grab it by the nuts this year (if needed).

Reid looked really bad on that one goal. Hunter will have to tighten it up defensively.

The Americans have a bigger D named Reid, a right shot, who is a top prospect in the upcoming draft. He looked solid yesterday.
