I for one am glad as hell they were not buyers. I guess now we over pay for Boeser.
and Suter.
I am expecting:
8 x 8 for Boeser
4 x 4 for Suter
I am expecting Boeser to walk. I'd wager that he is driving the price high right now because he knows it won't be met and then can exit to free agency and seek greener pastures. I can't see him wanting to stay with the way things have gone for all but 1 season (last year) of his time in Vancouver.
Suter will be retained at an overpayment that will piss us off for a while.....and the reason for that is because there are no worthwhile centermen available in free agency that are worth the July frenzy's required overpayment.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Allvin can barely speak. He looks so defeated and at a loss to explain why he could not trade his FA.
Do you think it is because Aqualini would not sign-off on it or because around the league everyone knows the Canucks are bent over a barrel and treating them accordingly in any trade negotiations?

The first, BB would be a good add to a team and Canucks could have gotten a 1st for him.

Anthony Beauvillier returned a second ffs. This was a big time seller's market.
