Cowan is god awful, lol. How the fuck did he get on the team?

Definitely one of the lowest IQ Team Canada squads I’ve seen. The USA didn’t win the game, we won it for them.

He was supposed to be a game breaker but he's pretty plumby eh.

Another elite plumber is the Murzyn clone Bonk. He even looks the part plumbing around in the fabled number 5. He should bill out at $125/hr plus an hour travel.

Bonk is very stationary as well as Dickinson. The two are poised for 3rd pairing at best. Cowan is the new Jake Virtanen. Game breaker? Not sure where you’re hearing that, lol. Far from it. More like game killer.

I only watched the first period but from what I saw the game plan seemed to be to run the Americans physically.

The result is prewdictable considering that.

There’s playing physical and there’s playing stupid. The last two penalties to Cowan (especially) and Pinelli were exactly that - playing stupid. Rehkopf kicking the goalie stick was childish, something you see 8 year olds doing. Dickinson’s two penalties were dumb and lazy as well as Mynio’s. The Americans played a smart disciplined game staying out of the box. Hats off to their poised play.

Martone is back in. Rehkopf the goalie stick kicker is out. Must’ve been a tough choice for Cameron on which OHL meathead to remove. I personally would’ve sat Easton “Jake Virtanen” Cowan but Cameron is afraid he’d upset Dale Hunter if he had (London Knights). Dale would’ve given him the Pierre Turgeon.
