Nonetheless, no one deserves to have the career ended like that.
Call me a knuckle-dragger, but I don't feel sorry at all for that weasel Moore. He deliberately injured Naslund and wouldn't man-up so he got what he got. It's just too bad Bertuzzi didn't do him in on a 'hockey' play a-la Dustin Brown, where you 'accidentally' lose balance while racing with him for a loose puck at the end boards and 'accidentally' grab him and pile-drive him head-first into the boards.

I'd spit on Moore if I didn't know I'd have a lawsuit coming. He's a piece of pig shit.

The riddle is, how can a spineless jelly fish have a broken neck?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

NHL on ice officials fucked that whole thing up and are 90 % culpable. If they would have let Brad May tune up Moore instead of flying in to break up the scrum, everything would have been settled. As usual they proved they are marginally better than the pisstanks that ref the CFL.

I've never got anyone to agree with me but the night Naslund took the hit, he was interviewed on TV for all to see and hear.
Still had blood on him.
He thought he was acting like a Captain and a professional by playing it down. I mean way down.
IMO, that gave it mometem.
I wish to hell Nassy had of lost it on air and came down on the officials and Moore and their fuck-head coach, Tony Granado.
For what ever reason, I think that would have quelled the need for retaliation to a dull roar. Not just "THE" act but the threats.
Yup Nassy should have stood up and roared.
I said that immediately after his interview...

As an aside, did you know, that, >>>>The Canadian Women's Team Bumped and bruised Tammy Granado every chance they could because
of her brother's actions.
How do I know this? Many of them would often come to the Richmond Ice Center and scrimmage and practice with us guys.
They told us.

Most of these comments support the unlikely nature of the whole sequence.

If Moore doesn't attempt to injure...
If he misses...
If Naslund sees it and avoids or minimizes it...
If the refs let Brad May pummel him for a bit...
If the league suspends Moore for a couple games for intent to injure...
If Moore fights somebody more credible than Cooke...
If Moore doesn't hit the ice blacked-out...
If multiple Avs don't all jump on the pile...
If Granato wasn't a prick (this one is perhaps too much to ask)...

It seems like many pieces had to fall exactly right. Very Canuck-ish in the luck department.
Anyway... back to our regularly scheduled program...

The only thing consistent about Nilsson is that he does just enough to continue to consistently get signed to NHL contracts.

It's going to become harder for NHL teams to bring over KHL players after their season ends, like Gusev and Gavrikov this year. The KHL is changing the rule that allowed KHL teams to retain rights for a player after terminating a contract. Now they will no longer retain rights.

So much for getting Tree back for next season. :(

KHL teams are less likely to release players under contract to the NHL now because they lose said player's KHL rights if they do.
