I think this kinda sums up how well the little DOGGIE is doing. It seems a proper audit would have accountants and people who know how to do this sort of thing, and not a bunch programmers hacking their way through. It's something that should take more than a day (unless the purpose is just to purge).

Managers were given just 200 characters to explain why the jobs these workers did mattered.

I'm sure that many of these jobs are somewhat complex - and not easily explained to people without experience in the field.

It's a good one to discuss though. Musk/DOGE compared to Clinton's Reinventing Government Initiative (RIGO). Clinton ended up with a surplus. Musk I doubt will achieve much savings. Republicans are already wanting the debt ceiling raised $4.5T.
