We like to throw the GM’s under the bus here but it all and always will point to this ownership, they are not hockey people, not true fans, it’s a business and they try to run it like it’s Walmart

1. They demanded Nonis to trade a package of Kesler, Bieksa and a 1st round pick for Brad Richards in Tampa. Nonis said no, fired.

2. Gillis walks into Aqualini’s office proposing a plan to rebuild, fired

3. Hire Linden, hire a yes man puppet in Benning. Linden walks into Aqualini’s office saying we need to be patient and build through the draft, fired.

4. Benning hangs in longer than he should because he was their yes man and puppet, fired after Smyl tells them enoughs enough.

5. Hire quality guys in Rutherford and Alvin, so far so good, but let’s be clear, Rutherford is old and is win now guy, developing and being patient isn’t what he is known for. He fits like a glove for the impatient meddling owners here, which again will come back to bite. The team is rather thin with little to nothing in the pipeline after Lekerimakki and Willander, who aren’t exactly thoroughbreds. Enjoy that 2025 1st and 2nd rd pick before its traded at the TDL for rentals

It’s time to start acting like the Dallas Stars. You can still be a good team and value, appreciate and respect your draft stock commodity while winning instead of Willy nillying them away for temporary short-lived pleasures, saving the picks for your own use, building through the draft while yet remaining competitive.

Good... um... good analysis, Chef.

Maybe mark the occasion by changing your screen name back to Biker Dude?

I think I need to go lie down for a while...

The Canucks have called up Erik Brannstrom. I wonder if they rushed Myers back too soon.

Should be interesting, this guy is not a Tocchet type to say the least.

I'm guessing they aren't happy with Juulsen or Desharnais - both have looked terrible (Forbort hasn't been much better).

They are having trouble getting the puck on to the forward's sticks, in stride. Tocchey Hockey is about transition... they don't know what that is.

If this guy plays anything like he did with Abby on Sunday we might actually see Tocchet's head explode.

And that would be a sight

Looks that way, I wasn't overwhelmed with Raty's work in this recent stint personally.

Wasn't really smellin' what The Tock was cookin' this time.

don't disagree. hopefully he uses all of this as motivation to kill it in Abby and give them no choice but to bring him up again soon
