im sorry, but the idea that you need your GM to be some kind of scouting mastermind to be able to find NHL players in the draft is just such utter hogwash. An idiot with access to nothing but biographical data and basic stats can do as well as most GM's. Judging your GM's performance on the fact that he rolled seven a few times in the draft is about the dumbest way possible to judge him considering all of his other duties. Knowledge of the CBA, negotiating ability, leadership skills, communication skills, ability to innovate, these are things where a GM can make a difference to an organization, and these are things that are actually difficult.

Forget about the ****ing draft; it's a bloody waste of time.
