Just got Shaw 150 and it is fast.
My son had his 5G wireless and was able get over 150mb download.
I am using 2.4 and am downloading 30-50mb.
Got the whole package for $85 plus tax.

All I got from Telus the last time I talked to them was a price break for six months. I think they kicked me back to about 99$ for six months, now I'm back up to $170

Sounds like you got tel/TV/internet bundle. Go with VOIP solution for your telephone and 3rd party for Internet (saves u lot more than the Telus bundling discount)' which leaves you under $90 for HD+sports.

That's it? telus harsh cheapos', they better switch me to fibre with free upgrades, same price, cause all I care about is ultra fast internet and tv essentials/sports. ONLY THEN! i'll stay aha.

Telus ran a fibre optic line to the house last week, haven't heard cost details on packages and it likely won't be connected for another month or two. Currently have Telus dish/landline/internet bundle. Shaw here is fast, but but even more of a pain in the ass to deal with.

Yeah but they are going to jack that price up hard after six months aren't they Reef ? I could be mistaken but I think that's just the introductory rate.

12 months then it goes up to $124 or something like that. For the 2nd year it is still a case of at cold beer store cheaper than Telus and I have more channels and higher speed.

I think you must live in Gävle though.
We've cancelled our landline phone. We all have cells, so what's the use?
My current cell phone deal is 15 CAD/month for 200 minutes, 1 GB surf and unlimited texting.
